Your refrigerator has some coils underneath or in the back and they tend to collect dust and dirt. Some studies indicate a quick cleaning of the coils could save you about 150 kw, which translates into a 6% decrease in your bills. If your coils were mega dirty or your refrigerator an older model it could be even more. Just slide out your fridge, and with the vacuum brush give the coils a once over. It’s a little thing but it could save you a few bucks this year of the high energy bills.
