Power blowers?
When fall comes around and the leaves start a falling, you might be thinking “rake = blisters”. After the first fall gets mulched with your mower, your thoughts turn to leaf blowers. They are versatile and convenient and the newer models and lighter and easier on the ears and neighbors’ nerves.
Most newer models beat vacuum cleaners for quietude, noise levels reduced by 70 percent over the past 10 years. The intrepid (and foolhardy?) even climb the roof and blast out the gutters and the downspouts.
Now these machines that can cost from thirty to hundreds of dollars, are really multi seasonal pieces of equipment, with some calling them power blowers, eliminating the leaf nomenclature altogether. Grass blowing, snow blowing, blowing out the garage and even drying your Ferrari are some further apps. But the primary attraction of the leaf (oops, excuse me) power blower are speed and efficiency, as well as fewer aches and pains. If your town allows the blowers, think multi season and applications for this handy dandy tool.
