Leaf Blowers

"The answer my friend is blowing in the wind, the answer is blowing in the wind..." Peter, Paul and Mary weren't thinking leaf blowers when they sang this song, but come fall when the leaves lie heavy on the ground, thoughts turn to an answer for leaf removal... the leaf blower!

There is always the rake...it takes up minimal space in the garage and is the low cost solution. However, with anything but the smallest of yards, the rake can offer only back breaking hours of cleanup. Enter the leaf blower. This time and labor saving machine was introduced in the 70's to remove leaves, grass mulch and general debris from your driveways, sidewalks and your landscaping, and can even clean gutters and do a bit of light snow removal.

Leaf blowers can be powered by electricity or by gas. The gas versions either sit on your back like a backpack or in your hands and simply blow the leaves away from you.
