Finding a Camcorder that is easy to use
There are three basic characteristics that determine a camcorder's ease of use: size, weight, and controls.
Size: Many models will fit comfortably in your hand, while some may feel strangely small. Many people complain that the buttons on camcorders are too small. If you have big hands — do not buy a camcorder without first testing it out at a store.
Weight: The more comfortable you are carrying the camcorder, the more likely you are to use it.
Controls: Most camcorders are designed so that the most frequently used controls (zoom, record, power) are most accessible. Other important controls are for removing the battery and changing the tape.
