I believe you are taking what Jim posted out of context. The subject at hand is anti Dyson propaganda and bashing that Carmine continues spewing at every opportunity he finds. It doesn't take long to determine that the majority of what he's spreading is inaccurate and wishful thinking on his part. The continuous lies he's been spreading are now being made known for all to read.
Quote from RAT on 03/05/06 at 10:04pm:For example, high quality super quiet German made Bosch canister vacuums are showing up at Box stores like Linens N Things and Costco. They are also available online at Target.com and Amazon.com among others. Apparently some Bed Bath and Beyond stores are carrying low end Miele canisters. Sebo has expanded its internet sales to include almost all models. Many are buying more expensive vacuums. Oreck has been doing extremely well with his expensive vacuums.
This information can easily be verified with a few simple phone calls or a few clicks of the mouse. It doesn't take Carmine to spread the word for Heavens sake.
By the way, I don't see any high end Bosch vacuums being sold at LNT, Target.com or Best Buy. But interestingly enough there are all the models of the Dysons available at these same big box stores including the suposedly "disappearing" DC-15. LOL
Quote from RAT on 03/05/06 at 10:04pm:Many Americans like the idea of getting a really high quality quiet vacuum, and are willing to pay more for it. Once someone tries a Miele or Bosh premium canister, it's hard for them to go back to a Hoover - even if the Hoover cleans carpeting as well or better for far less money.
I completely agree with you on this one except that a Hoover will never outperform a premium Miele. Never!
