DC16 can run the mini turbine head very well. However, the machine is at an odd angle. Kind of like using an 18 volt cordless drill with a long screwdriver bit. I think the standard brush head as well as standard crevice tool are all people will want. BUT, if someone owns an Animal model Dyson, they could always put on the adapter and use their turbine head with DC16.

Will be cleaning the mattresses at Best Western (where VCCC members will be staying for the weekend Mini Meet). Will be interesting to see what DC16 gets out.

Wow, it's been quite a long time.

I was excited when I received an e-mail in my inbox that said "dc-16".

My first thought was how much is it going to be. I was shocked that for the little amount that it does -- it came with a hefty $150 price tag. I definately think that it is way to high for a dustbuster like vacuum that doesn't lose suction. Tongue

That's too bad that Dyson's prices are still up there.

On a side note, I can't wait to use the Airblade in a restroom.
