It's the weekend and vacuum sales abound.
Once again the coveted PARADE section premiers the HOOVER WindTunnel 2. But this week the Surface Command for $339, the HOOVER canister for $49 and the HOOVER SteamVac. Compliments once again of BEST BUY.
But wait. Who else is joining in on the coveted PARADE advertising section. None other than Mr. Most Recognized Business Man: David Oreck. Not with vacuums, but he sneaks one in, but with Air Purifiers. Gotta love that PARADE section. Dave is looking good for 84 and A WW 11 veteran. Much better than some others who like to advertise their vacuum products and are much younger.
Speaking of BEST BUY, it has the same DC07 for $399 with the $30 Gift Card. (Boring). SEARS has a better deal for one day only (right now). And today is the day. THe DC14 All Floors for $429 before a 10 percent mail-in rebate. Trying hard to sell them high priced dysons now that the market demand is waning and the market is saturated.
Retail sales are down in June. The June and July Michigan University Consumer Confidence Indices are down. High gas prices are taking a toll on consumers' discretionary income. Sales will abound to push products.
Of course HOME DEPOT is still premiering their HOOVER Legacy Series. Way to go HOOVER.
