Hot sales for Plasma TVs
Those weekend circulars from your electronics store are making inroads into the American homes and the number of you out there owning a plasma TV has gone through the non antenna’s roof.
The prices of plasma TVs are declining and the quality improving and you are evidently taking advantage. Sales almost doubled in the second quarter of this year. The lowered costs don’t seem to be hurting revenues either, as earnings increased over fifty percent for these larger than life TVs.
The USA and Japan seem to be responding to the new technology, but the global appeal is not lost with twenty percent of the global TV income attributed to plasma, a two percent increase over just the past quarter. You know the holidays are going to see a lot of large, thin boxes under the tree and these figures will jump even further.
