rumors have it that murry has been purchased by briggs . story is that murry was in debt to briggs for 40 million...thats a lot. i wasnt even aware murry was in trouble until i read it here. and if they owed briggs that much ,how much did they owe tecumseh. i find this kinda interesting.... briggs bought out simplicity which owns snapper,and they took a lot of flac from other equipment manufactures. so now they grab murry which was in big trouble supposedly. were they really in trouble or was this there way of expanding without out upsetting more folks. personaly i have no problem with companies expanding and turning a profit,as long as they arent getting a handout or doing somthing sneaky to do it. i may be way off base here and hope that more facts will follow ,but right now its just curious to me . just speculating. later chris
