Re: New AC Unit!
#4   Aug 7, 2005 7:19 pm
I have been using the Energy Saver mode since I installed the unit. On really hot days I set the temp to 70 degrees which kept the room nice and cool but the unit came back on often. Today is not really a hot day so I set the AC temp to 80 degrees so that way it only comes on when the room temp goes above 80. I did test out the lowest 60 degree temp setting and notice the unit stayed on constently and never turned off. I will let you know my findings on power usage when I get our next energy bill, keeping in mind of all the other fans running in the rest of the house though.
Re: Zone Alarm Firewall...Don't Have IT? Get It

I have used Zone Alarm for about 4 years now, but I never have seen it this good In my opinion it would be a mistake to not buy it now if you have not in the past. The only thing I could say bad about this version considering I have used it for 3 days is that you have to do alot more program configuring than you had to before. I believe this is do to the added security though and a person should not get bummed out because it took them the extra 5 minutes to configure! If you are a gamer you are at a higher risk of being hacked and or spyware/viruses being installed on your machine, so it is very important that you run a firewall like Zone Alarm on your machine!
