PS: Snow thrower or snow blower? What's the correct terminology?FYI, Sno-Thro is a trademark from the Ariens Company.

Fred Sounds like a little harmless brand competition /bashing to me.Hey Fred,you got a few replies on this one.Hey...there all sheet metal and motor,some the same motors at that.some of them have better sheet metal,paint,bearings or bushings,but a rusted old MTD will run forever if it is maintained. Ariens is dominant I believe because of their rep.They are noted for snowbloweres like Skidoo is for sleds.Lots of MTD buys because thats what True Values and others carry.Sears...well,you know.Hey lets all pop a couple ov V's ans go to Sears and look at those big 13 horse jobs....
