Official snowblower in action thread....
Original Message   Jan 23, 2005 2:23 pm
These were taken by my youngest daughter. I had to show her how to use the camera. But they came out okay. The EOD was like budda!

If you have some shots..post them here.

Great snowthrower.  I never put chains on a tire before.  I guess you have to keep them on somehow, and the rubber tie down must be the way?  I thought you tightened something on the chains themselves?

Machine & man lookin' good !

Hey... is that snow on your moustache... ?

You can't  be that old ! ....

Dave...

Hi Dave. Yes, that is snow in the moustache, but it's got a little white in it anyway. I prefer to say it's blonde.   LOL
It really caked on there today.

Jogo, I get enough distance from mine, but yours looks awesome. That's half the fun,  watching the "plumes" of snow fly out of the machine, until it blasts us in the face.  Your daughter took really good pics for just learning the camera.

After I parked the blower I took the tractor out to push a couple piles of snow. I didn't want it to feel neglected.  LOL

That was a good idea. All engines should be run once in a while.

Hi AJace. The chains do have clips that fasten together. The tie downs just take up the slack and help them stay on better. The chains were on the blower when I bought it used last year. I have put them on the tractor though. It helps with my blower, but the newer models with the sno hogs should be good enough.

Jogo, Vangellis:

Nice work guys!  Great action shots of those machines. Makes me envious. The storm barely made it here, and all we got was less than 2 inches.
