NWS Will be issuing Blizzard Watches and Warning shortly. Accuweather has upped snowfall potential for Southern New England areas to 12-24", with possible 60 mph gusts, and thunder and lightning. Day after tomarrow?? Maybe......... Will see , but it looks good.

Cuz Vin - Big UCONN fan here (plus Soxs and Pats).  Hopefully, our luck won't run out with the Pittsurgh teams (Panthers and Steelers) this weekend.    The game at Storrs will be during a blizzard.  I am assuming it will still be played. There will probably only be students in the stands who can walk home after.  Got the Ariens 1024 Pro ready for action. Markman - I got my Ariens 824 ready to go - I like to say I'm going to have fun, but it will be too cold and windy to have fun.. Ever been to the Boneyard?  Being a UCONN fan you sould check it out.   http://connecticut.rivals.com/ Here's my UCONN women's BB link page.   http://www28.brinkster.com/uconncuzinvinny/ GO UCONN!Â

Yikes!   You're right.  I checked the National Weather service site after reading this thread. For my area southwest of Boston: "Saturday Night...Snow...Heavy at Times. Snow accumulation of 10 to 18 inches by daybreak. Very windy with blizzard conditions possible. Lows around 20. Northeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph...Increasing to north 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 50 mph after midnight.
Sunday...Snow likely in the morning...Then becoming partly cloudy. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 2 feet. Very windy with highs in the lower 20s. North winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 50 mph." I'll have to go gas up the blower.  -Bob

Kneebiter-Hi neighbor,lol! Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â That seems right. I'll more'n likely wait 'til it's over,or try to get to the OED if it looks like it's getting too high. Thanks.

Now saying 18-24" with Thundersnow tonight. Could be biggest storm in at least 10 years. Maybe rival the Great 78. Time will tell.
