I got a long carpet stuck in my snowblower.  Its a toro power max 826 LE.

I disconnected the spark plug and tunrned the key off.

I tried hacking it out with utility knife.

I'm wondering if there is a better way ?

Any help would be appreciated

I'm trying to avoid chopping any body parts off   ; )

If it is real far,you might want to take the chute off.You might also want to remove the belt for the auger,that might help free it up a little.That happened to me a few years back,i drained all my gas and burned it out with a propane torch.But that is not safe and i would not suggest it except as a final resort.Hope this info helps,goodluck.

I did this with a tarp a while back. Take the auger assembly out.

Thank You for all the ideas.   I'll give it a shot.     I think I actually have some muratic acid. We have 12 inches of snow coming tonight, so I better get cracking.
