Used Craftsman snowblower value?

I just picked up a 1993 Craftsman snowblower from a relative. It's a 10HP Tecumseh 29". She has no idea what it's worth, and neither do I. I want to be very fair in the price I give her for it. I don't think it's been used more than a couple of years, and hasn't run for a long time (a decade). It does turn over fine though. It was all gummed up from old gas being left in the tank and carb. I have the carb soaking in gas as we speak. Any help is much appreciated.

Last year in my shop I had two 1994 Sears 10hp, 29" machines, both with light kits. I went over them completely (new belts, tune up, lubrication), they were in fantastic cosmetic & running condition, and I sold them for $700 each. Since the Sears you mentioned needs carb work (and possibly a new carb) & is a year older than my two, I would say a fair value would be between $400-$500. Marty
