What Is Your OPE? (moved from community chat forum)
Original Message   Jan 16, 2005 11:42 pm
I have a Stihl FS250R Trimmer, 725R Ryobi Trimmer, Toro Ultra 225 Blower, Black&Decker Edge Hog, Scotts 6.5HP Self Prepelled Mower, Murray 8HP Rear Engine Rider. So what is yours. The last time I asked this on WTB, hardly anyone posted. So lurkers, get yourself out the door and post! What is your OPE?

I would have to say that my Echo Split Boom trimmer/edger is right up there with my favorite OPE. It's nice to just have one piece with two attachments, makes premium equipment more affordable as well.

I wonder what it would take to install A/C into a small compact tractor.

I was starting to wonder where you had vanished to Termy.  Found this as I was on break one day and thought it was time to pull it out of the background.

Gravely garden tractor mowing update...

Got to the lot in Vt... had rained... wet 6-8" tall grass... talked w/ 2 neighbors with Craftsman lawn/garden tractors... ~~ 38-44" cuts... said they tried to mow their ~~4" of grass... but clogged... clumped... gave up...

Put new blades on the Gravely... mowed 1+ acres of wet grass with the 5-foot deck... no clumps... no clogs... but plenty of buildup under the deck...

It's all in the design ! heeeee... heeee....

Guess I'll stop eyeballin' the Craftsman mowin' tractors at Sears...

Their ok, but not the best.  Just look @ the price when you buy, I think it says something.
