I finally got a plow for my tractor
Original Message   May 26, 2005 12:46 pm
I went 70 miles out of my way last night to pick up a used Brinly plow. Met a nice fella from another forum and got a decent deal on something I've been looking for, for a while.

Brinly plow

This is NOT me, and not my tractor, I just borrowed the pic to show what a 10 HP Tecumseh powered 35 plus year old tractor can do. Not gonna plow the lower 40 acres, but will turn over a 1/2 acre garden easier and faster than a walk behind tiller I just wish I had soil like this guy has. In northern PA we have the minimum amount of dirt necessary to fill in the spaces between the rocks, and the rocks vary from fist sized to lunch box sized if you are lucky. Some "unlucky" folks have car sized rocks.

Good deal you got yourself a plow!

Now all you have to do is get some rust remover and get rid of that rust. Than mabie you can paint it black with the word Brinly in orange!
