New Hampshire Motorcycle legislation
The New Hampshire legislature, after seeing more than a quarter of their road fatalities involving motorcycles have been working on a bill that would require driver’s education classes for anyone failing the state’s motorcycle license test two times. They may have a good idea.
They found that only two of the forty two fatalities last year had taken the motorcycle education course. The bill also wants anyone applying for a motorcycle learner’s permit to take a written driving test first. The House and Senate passed it and its on its way to the Governor for signing. This pre-eminent “strike” hopefully will help reduce the rising cyclists fatalities.
Ask if your state has some kind of approach to educating motorcyclists before “someone gets hurt”.
