Kitchen Stoves are hot, hot, hot
You can't look at a home renovation television show these days without being treated to a look at a six burner restaurant style stove that would do Emeril proud. Foodies extol their form and function. Unfortunately, most homes and budgets cannot accommodate these high-end ranges. However, there is a huge inventory of stylish and cook-worthy stoves that won't break your pocketbook or your aesthetic.
Your decision to purchase a stove is prompted by a kitchen renovation or the need to replace an existing stove that no longer works or meets your needs. If you are renovating your kitchen, you have more latitude in selection. If you are fitting a stove into an existing space, you have more limitations. The stove must fit into a specific measured space, and may only be gas-powered if there is a gas line available.
