GPS Navigator Smartphone Edition
Palm GPS meets Palm Treo Smartphone in the GPS Navigator Smartphone Edition.
For $299 you get a Bluetooth GPS module, an MMC card that incorporates TomTom Navigator6 software and the all important maps as well as the gotta have hardware (i.e., cradle and mounting bracket, USB cable and a USB memory card reader and a power adapter. Some pros are the readable LCD, even with sunlight pouring through your windshield, quick rerouting when something goes wrong, like roadwork on exits, and TomTom Traffic that lets you know just what a busy highway system we have. Cons include the dated Palm operating system and Bluetooth network integration with phone functions. Could use more memory as well.
If you’ve got a Treo, go for it.
