Canon copier recall
If you have an older Canon copier at the office or on your desk at home, take a few minutes and check if it is the subject of a recall.
Evidently the wiring, in products manufactured between 1987 to 1997, can overheat and cause the copier to catch fire. If you think you have one of these potentially incendiary machines, check out
Canon’s website. Some of the models up for replacement are the PC 6,7,8 and 11 plus the more muscular NP1010, 1020 and 6010.
Desktop copiers and printers have become the latest disposables, so I don’t know if you have one of these around anymore, but make sure you check.
