Starbucks recall

Starbucks top of the line coffee products came up with an “Oops” and is making a recall.

Their Barista Aroma Stainless Steel 8 Cup Coffee Brewer has defective electrical wiring that overheats, potentially sending your home up in coffee bean smelling smoke. There have been incidents of the plastic housing of the brewer melting, but no injuries reported as yet.

Think you have one? It’s just the 8 cupper, not the solo and 12 cup versions of the Barista. Look for Starbucks Barista Aroma embossed on the front of the chrome finished maker. They were sold between March 2005 and September 2006 and cost about $100.
