I'm not sure if Coleman makes anything. "They" certainly do no make generators.
Correct. Coleman sold Powermate generators under their name. Not sure if Powermate went under or what, but Pramac brought Powermate back. Now Pramac power is in liquidation so who knows what the future will bring for non-generic parts. One thing to look out for, some Coleman gensets had an alternator endbell bearing pressed into a plastic housing. If you have one of those, make sure that bearing is always in tip-top shape - you don't want it overheating.

That's the good thing about Stihl. The few products that aren't made in USA were made at the home plant in Germany.

I can't recommend a particular brand or model, but I will say that when you look at them make sure you see the make and model # of the pump. Then go home and check to see if it is rebuildable and that you can get individual parts. Personally, I've never seen or heard of a pressure washer being junked that still had a good pump. Engines are cheap and easy to replace, so if the pump can be repaired or rebuilt the unit should last you forever.

20 bucks, what a find!! Very nice, looks really clean. Good size blower for someone who isn't sure if they want a single or two stage.

Just get the one without the hydrostatic transmission model (HRX217KVA) if hydro reliability is a question. +1 There's no need for a hydro on a lawnmower. Get something you can fix rather than just replace very expensive parts. A quick google on the HRX217HYA showed the transmission was available only as a unit (no individual parts) and was $200 and two weeks to ship at one place, out of stock at two others.
