BEST BUY And Sunday Parade

If you look at your Sunday newspaper, you'll see the VAX line featured for sale AND low and behold the Eureka BOSS Smart Vac upright. Dyson gets a mention with a $549 Low Reach (I believe).

BEST BUY encouraged dyson to enter and launch the line in June 2002. 3 years later there's a new guy (VAX) in town with the end cap real estate (along with HOOVER).

And BEST BUY dropped the 12 months no interest to $149 (just for the Eureka).

Very i-n-t-e-r-e-s-t-i-n-g. !

What went so wrong? Matt what are you doing to keep dyson in the limelight at BEST BUY in Woodbridge VA? Any recent visits, meetings and sales pitches to the BB crew. Maybe the new dyson sales numbers to influence BEST BUY to continue to highlight and push your line? BEST BUY in Woodbridge VA is a tough cookie for vacuum sales. You got some some new plans?

Things are not looking good Mr. C. Not good at all.

Carmine, as usual you only present enough info to make your argument.

Hoover did not get any space in the ad. The Eureka got no more mention than Dyson. It is BS like this that really shows stupidity. You may be on to something with the end cap space. Look at what happened to Hoover when Dyson took it over. What went so wrong then?

I beg to differ kind Sir. HOOVER Steam Vac is very prominent in the ad. AND HOOVER and VAX share the end cap positions in BEST BUY in Woodbridge VA.

BEST BUY knows the best sellers to premier. If it could they have the HOOVER FUSION, but for the time being the closest is the EUREKA BOSS SMART VAC.

So now we are comparing vacuums to steam vacs. That is rather stupid. Truth does not come from your mouth so it must be stupid.

Best Buy premiered the Dyson for at least 2 years so maybe they do know something after all. I keep forgetting that you are not familiar with updated marketing. No brand will take top billing forever, although you think bagged models should.
