Generic Miele Hepa filter and Envirocare bags

When it comes to vacuum supplies does it matter what brand you buy.  Myllocal vacuum shops only sell Envirocare cloth bags for the Miele and whiile they are cost effective dust leaks through the bag.  Now its time for a new hepa filter because today when I was vacuuming my allergies and sinuses started acting up, and the irritation didn't stop until I stopped vacuuming.  Second there is another hepa filter brand for the Miele and a lot of online stores sell them, on ebay its just $14.95, its a steal when comparing the actual Miele brand filter which will cost me 49.95.  Here the link to show you what I'm talking about. Hi,the filter your talking about is the same as the my-ellie filter,it's licenced by miele to be made and sold. They are the same right down to the charcoal, the only difference is the color, and the price.

We sell about 40 a week..........

It does matter which generic brands you purchase, but it also depends upon which brand of vacuum cleaner you own.  Overall, most generic supplies have improved over the years.

If you have a big reaction when vacuuming, you want to make sure your vacuum will filter enough that you do not get a reaction.

The dust that leaves the bag of your vacuum bag is marginal and should not be a problem.  Since you have allergies, you want to make sure that you change the filter regularly.

The Envirocare brand uses good material and performs well, so you should not worry at this point.
