What a bunch of double talk! Who determines Eureka and Vax are not bearers of industry standards by which others manufacturers should follow? If they don't meet your criteria then it's ok to not have the CRI rating! Hilarious Carmine.

Any ways what good is an upright if you only have 2 9x12 carpets. I really dont like uprights , vax's an old failed design upright, that was unloaded on royal thru tti. Bosch could not make it work, Miele's uprights are put on the back burner , the art is a test in futility, Eureka/ electrolux a.b. uprights are destined for the scrap heap, Please guy's get of the upright kick.

You'll note from this thread that the DC15 has not been advertised in BEST BUY sales supplements since long before October 2005. In early October the price dropped $100 but no advertised sales even during the prime Holiday season.

DC15 no longer occupies the end cap but instead gets back shelve space among the others.

You may also note that the DC15 has not been advertised by other retailers either in months. Not on TV. Not anywhere. It's fading.

Sam's Club no longer stocks the DC15 Total Clean. It didn't sell well if at all.

I think I'll keep this thread just as BEST BUY to track the developments with vacuums.
