It's both HARDSELL: Fair to middlin performance at the highest vacuum prices and consumers' cutting back. Put the two together and dyson goes to the mat with a one-two knock out punch. You're living proof of it. A former dyson buyer and user. Rave over it. Won't buy another dyson now. Returned the one you did buy because you were unhappy with it. Went with a $299 Royal Eminence instead. BAGGED no less! Talk about doing the twist! Carmine D. I would like to pose a question to the DYSONITES, Why do you feel that DYSON has revised their filter cleaning schedule, 1 could it be that the new level3,system is not as good as the old roots system. 2 could the brush roll change in the newer dc series machines really picked up the cleaning effectiveness, and the filtration system cant keep up with it/ 3 or the dyson engineers are now thinking about going bagged. 4 or it was just bull$hit from the beginning. your replys are welcome........... MOLE Hello MOLE: Add one more significant downsize/degradation to the latest dyson DC25 mix: Reduced bin size. From .5 gallons [2 quarts] in the DC14 dirt bin to .3 gallons [1.5 quarts] in the DC25. Why? Filter maintenance increased and bin size decreased? What sayest thou dyson fans? Please don't give the answer because of the ball wheel technology. Carmine D.

# 4. I am of course referring to you and Carmine about the bullsheet. We already know that Dyson put you and Carmine in a pinch therefore all the hate.
HARDSELL:
The only bull dunk on this site comes from you and other dyson fans spewing untrue claims about how great dyson art. And it's flowing like mud now that the myth and lies are uncovered. No hate here for dyson from MOLE and I. Just the plain and simple facts about it. You rave and rant about the dyson brand for over 3 years. What do you do? Sell the DC07 that was gifted to you. Using the funds to buy a DC14 from SEARS, one of your least favorite retailers, and then return the DC14 to get your money back. Wait, you haven't even gotten started yet. It gets better! What do you do then? Go to an indy vacuum store [that you constantly criticize here for not selling dysons] and buy a bagged Royal Eminence for $299. After all this, what do you have to say? Well I don't really like the Royal, its not as good as a dyson. I can kick myself every day when I use the Royal. I miss my dyson. Like selling my Dodge Charger 40 years ago. Always me. Poor me. I called the dealer and he won't give me a deal to buy another dyson and trade my Royal. See, I bought a new set of golf clubs for $2000 and a lawnmower. So my credit is maxed out. I have to wait awhile. BTW, was that a bagged/bagless lawnmower? What should we conclude from all this? A word comes to mind. Your word. Hint: Look up! Carmine D.

I suspect the fella in question is working as part of Dyson's 'blue sky' team. As the name might suggest, these people are tasked with discovering new ways of solving problems using the latest technology and scientific knowhow. Generally speaking, nothing is too radical.
Efficient product development is achieved by a mix of people. Ideas people, specialist area people (engineers, scientists) ...and project managers to keep development on track and to keep anyone else from distracting the individuals! Moose, You were correct, this designer works as part of the "Blue Sky" team. Story here. DIB

DIB:
Sorry to rain on your Stephen in blue sky wonderland parade but it begs the question: What does a 24 year old vest designer know about vacuums? What does he know about the vacuum industry? What qualifies him to work on designing and making vacuums better? Is dyson so desperate to get his failed bagless filtration back on track that he's groping for straws as he's sinking in the quick sand? 12 of these whiz kids to improve the dyson. A swat team of designers? What does this say about the 500 dyson engineers? It's laughable. First, the $500 DC15 gets madeover into the DC25 and now the DC25 will get madeover and relaunched as the DC35 with a new price tag of $700. Why? Surprise surprise. It eradicates dust mites. Ohhh my!!! But wait. Isn't there a another $500 vacuum on the market that isn't selling well that already claims the same? Yes, I think there is. It's called the halo. Of course. The halo. Only problem is that multiple scientific research and studies show conclusively that all brushroll vacuums kill dust mites. Really? Next? Oh lest I forget. Dyson never loses suction! And its steerable and pivoting. Just what we need. A portable 12 pound vacuum that you steer and pivot around the house like you are on an obstacle course of cleaning. Oh my! What will the king of vacuum innovation with his 500 engineers and task force of 12 designers think of next? Wait. I got it! A robotic vacuum! Yes, a robotic vacuum. OK, coffee break time. For you underage dyson whiz kids, milk will be served. Warm in a bottle. Imperial pint size. Carmine D.

Carmine, It seems as if you did not have a bowelmovement today. Your are still FOS and lies as usual.
You have no idea which retailers I like or dislike. I bought a new mower at Sears two weeks ago. I have already explained that I went to the indy to test the water. I now know positively that the big boxes are just as good when you want the best (Dyson). I said that I kick myself every day for selling the Hemi, not the Royal. Please pay attention (if you can afford it). I pay cash for all purchases. Not filthy rich but very comfortable financially. I likely have more $ invested i my home theater than you have in all your home furnishings. I did spend over $1000 for vacuums last year (paid in cash). You could only affore the $150 Oreck. Since you are spouting about loyalty you should have stayed with Hoover. Talk about a traitor to your bread and butter. Of course you did not know any better until your wife told you that the Hoover was inferior. If your brain was in a humming bird he would suck a horse rear thinking that it was a morning glory. Now get back on your meds before they put that strait jacket back on you.

Which also begs the question...could he really do any worse than the supposed "vacuum guys" working with any of the big manufacturers at the moment. With some of the junk that has come down the line from Eureka, Hoover, Dirt Devil and Panasonic of late I think somebody fresh and not set in the old school ways wouldn't be a bad idea for any company.
Dusty Your point would be valid if dyson was a 79,95 vacuum cleaner.Imagine that 512 people on the payroll to make mistake after mistake after mistake.I wonder how many are working in the marketing department over 1000? We know that Gasko is the minister of propaganda, Maybe Jimmy will have to move him over to another department soon, maybe in charge of janitorial duties, Or maybe he could be the E-BAY police, seeking out those evil indys that sell the piece of junk online for cost.[ITS STILL OVERPRICED] YOU GUYS ARE STILL THE LEADERS IN THE COLORS DEPARTMENT, B.T.W. when are they going to fix the hoses from breaking off its a huge aftermarket all to its self,I cant personally give dyson credit for that he does not make his own parts[like real manufactures], BYE BYE SIR JIMMY, why dont you get back into the laundry business again, you failure,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, mole
