I called Hoover/TTI and got mad due to all the electronic run around their phone system makes for. Per the email I sent requesting an actual minute count, heres the "skinny" . . .

Lithium-Ion batteries differ from Ni-cad batteries in that with time Ni-cad power will decrease during operation, the Lithium-on battery will not. PS -- Despite the time quote I am assuming the run time for the stick vac -- if it has separate motors for the fan and brushroll -- may be a bit less.

Really the post has really good help for the newbie to choose one for itself. More posts might be coming after this! Dyson is a company providing different household appliances to make your work easy. Here I found a guide on Dyson vacuum cleaner which I truly found helpful.

Comparing a Hoover to a Dyson is like comparing yellow fever to typhus. Which would you rather have? There are so many reall good vacuums out there for sale and people by this cheap fragile kludge from Hoover and Diesoon.
