Re: Expensive Snow Shovel ??

For what it matters.

If I had to pick between running a two stage snowblower and a "snow-shovel"  I would always go for the two stage.  Maybe I just want to throw that snow farther, maybe it is the loud noise and killer power that I love.  Let the snow shovel stay inside and play barbie doll while we take care of business in the driveway.

For what it matters.....

I used a dremmel tool with a diamond cut off disk.  ran it right up the center and then popped it out with a screwdriver.  (This was on the shaft behind the impeller bearing which I had to hammer off with a pickle wrench)  Mind you, my machine is a 1978 Craftsman and  nobody had ventured into this unknown territory previously)

Good luck
