remote deflector
#1   Oct 16, 2007 3:45 pm
I noticed that the remote deflector is just a cable and a spring.

When blowing wet and heavy snow and the deflector is in the down position,

can the force of the snow blowing through the shute cause the deflector to spring open to it's fullest point?

I decided on the Ariens , but not to sure what model.

Thanks for the info Snowman. When I was there the man said that the floor model was the only one they had. I asked if the price would be lower since it is a floor model and he just shook his head no.I will call him on MONDAY and tell him I will give him 1200 and see what he says. I'll let you know and thanks again for the info.
ariens 924DLE

Hi,

I went to an  Ariens dealer today and looked at the 924DLE model.

Price is 1400 this includes set up and delivery and also  when still under warranty pick up and delivery.

Looking at some of the threads I see where people were paying 1400 for the 926DLE.

The 924DLE has the automatic lockout differential, electric start, but no head light. I like the 24 inch auger but don't like that it costs the same as a 926DLE.

I don't see anything on the Ariens web site about this Model.

Does anybody know about this model?

                                                                      Thanks,

                                                                                          Jim
