And thanks for the photos. I'm sure mine is like that. I bought it used and never noticed the problem. My main blower is a 1974 JD526, i put a kawasaki 6.5HP on it. Lots of torque.

Yah, I think rust is the problem. Looks like a lot of work to fix. Other than that it runs and looks good. Think i can get $450 as is? I'm moving into a condo next summer.

The wheels are not freewheeling. I loosened the big wing nut to free them and they are still locked. Is there something broke or has rust locked them. I use it as is, but it's hard for this old man to turn it. Thinking it would cost more then it's worth to have fixed. Any ideas?
