Snowblower worked great with 6" of very heavy snow. I was actually surprised it had such a good throw distance of at least 25' or more. My old 5 HP engine would die in these conditions. Engine RPM held its ground and never fell below 3,360. Maybe some may feel these gauges are a needless expense, but it sure is nice to see how your machine is performing in varying conditions. As for warranty, for once I'll say it, I couldn't care less about it. All I wanted was a great working and running snowblower that meets my expectations. The downside was with all the money a good snowblower costs today, I still had to spend another $74.00 to bring the engine up to my standards. The carburetor was an improvement without question. The only reason I purchased a new carb rather than a used rebuilt one for $55.00 was because the machine is new. Just wanted to keep the components on an even playing field. Besides, I think you'll find a good number of people here with new machines will find their warranty may not be in force anymore. Marc, thanks again for posting that important SPEC number

I really really wish that it was. It's the Ariens company testing their equipment. Hi AJ,
That really is an incredible photo, must be their 13 Hp model. Maybe Ariens should consider marketing them as snowblower/tunnel boring machines.
