Amounts increased to 4"-7" and will start coming down hours earlier than originally predicted.  Have a good one, Long Islander's

Hi there Sherri,

You know something, I think that was the most professionally written weather report ever to have been posted in this forum.  Thanks again for making it snow here, I wasn't even aware we were getting snow until late last night.  Have to go prep the Toro.

I copied and posted from Environment Canada.  It's still down around Florida so I guess it's moving pretty quick to make it by tomorrow.

I'm loving the snow!!!!!!!!!

Personally, I prefer to measure snowfalls horizontally.  We get a lot more that way.

Looks like we only got about 4".  I still used the snowblower because this was the coldest it has been since I made the modifications to my carburetor.  I really wanted to see how it ran in 24 degrees.  Engine ran flawless and started on the first pull.

That the same amount we got, about 4 inches on the roads but 6 on the grassy surfaces.  Didn't use the blower though.

The blizzard I so hoped for decided on an coastal cruise instead of touring the inland.  Oh it did snow - but not nearly enough.  Can't wait until the next one!

We got 7" but that makes over a foot in the last week.  Not too shabby!   Snowblower is earning its keep this winter.   Monday/Tuesday does not look like much of an event in our forecast so far.    -Bob

Just brought  the two beasts in the garage. I'm ready and waiting. There already is a winter storm warning in effect. Let's see what actually comes.... - Kris
