my new ariens 921030 came with thin slippery grips and felt like pieces of water pipe in my hand. i cut the stock grips off and installed two left hand stock Harley Davidson grips with a little windex and a few hits with the palm of my hand. the old grip measured 3 3/8" around and the new ones are 4 3/4" around, much easier to hang on to because they are larger and made out of rubber.
