my new ariens 921030 came with thin slippery grips and felt like pieces of water pipe in my hand. i cut the stock grips off and installed two left hand stock Harley Davidson grips with a little windex and a few hits with the palm of my hand. the old grip measured 3 3/8" around and the new ones are 4 3/4" around, much easier to hang on to because they are larger and made out of rubber.

no logo on the grips! i'm sure with the ariens bars measuring 1" o.d. dia. lots of grips would fit. i new these might work because they are not overly large and would not interfere with the levers being engaged.

Thanks for the tip and nice job mkd55! I wonder if they may keep hands warmer too? I may well copy you if I ever get the chance to finish my 924150.
