Diesel Inverter Generators - Where are they? Original Message Oct 16, 2012 12:38 pm
I've been searching the internet looking for a diesel powered inverter generator. For some odd reason, there does not seem to be a North American distributor. My search found a couple nice Kipor models that sell esewhere in the world but I've yet to find a diesel inverter generator distributor on this side of the planet.
Does anyone here know of a dealer anywhere in North America who would sell these?

Thanks Doug.
I already own a Kubota diesel generator. However, it's not an inverter type. My machine runs at a constant 1800 rpm. Inverter generator engines run at variable speed depending on load. Low load demand = low speed, high load = higher speed. The engine responds precisely to demand, thus reducing fuel consumption, noise and mechanical wear.
