Snow engine rated at 9 lbs torque?
Original Message   Jun 20, 2011 1:32 pm
I'm looking at a snowblower with a Briggs & Stratton 205. The 205 is rated at 9 lbs torque. Is that a decent amout of power ? It is on a Ariens Compact 24

That engine is more than likely equivalent to a 6.5hp ohv engine which should produce about 9lb/ft of torque.
