Thanks to all who talked  about smaller SS machines for those pita snowfalls that don't merit the effort of getting out the 2 stage.

I've spotted a couple of used SS's that I can get for a good price. Haven't seen them in person yet but I'm wondering which might be the better choice for the longer term when it comes to replacement parts.
 (then again, if I can haggle them down far enough, I could just replace instead of repair?)

One is a Craftsman (Murray) 5-21 that Borat has spoken well of


and the other is an MTD 4.5-21
