Disclosing horsepower and torque data
Original Message   Jan 20, 2011 10:36 am
After the whole lawsuit regarding horsepower fraud. Is there any obligation for the manufacturers to disclose horsepower/torque data upon request?

What lawsuit?  Who rely needs the numbers. We are not in a tractor pull or a drag race. Just think old school and you will be fine.  the bigger the cubes (cc) the more the HP> The longer the stroke the more the torque. Most all engines today are OHV.  UHV engines put out more torque than old school flat heads. Unless you run your engine on a dyno you dont really know its output. Always keep in mind it takes Power and auger  speed /size to throw snow far.
