extension cord wrapped around auger

I got the extension cord out .The snowblower is throwing snow .The auger is spinning as is the impeller.Dont hear any weird noisesBut I noticed on the side where I took the extension cord out,it looks like the auger is not snug up against the auger gear case as it is on the other side.Should I be concerned?I dont understand where this gap came from because the shear bolt is in the hole.
