Hydrostatic Transmission Oil Change - What Hrly Schedule

Is there some some or recommended hourly rating on when the oil for the Hydrostatic tranmission on the Hondas should be changed

Granted it's not going to be used commericially, I do believe in fluid changes...

I'm going to assume cold weather operations, manuf .assumption of lifetime/lifeycle of the units & quality oil would mean the fluid would meet their *lifetime* requirements/specs.
And or they are just 'fraid consumers will get air in the lines and it will be a whole lotta issues...to be avoided.

I've never changed mine in 7 years and was told that the most important thing was to check the oil level at the beginning of each season. Don't fill outside and allow any dirt to get in. Clean the outside of the bottle before you use it as dist/dirt could fall in as you add oil.

I don't recall the dealer telling me to change it. It isn't like motor oil that has to be changed due to the heat, breaking down the oil etc.
