Paramount leaf blower parts
Original Message   Nov 10, 2010 9:45 am
I'm at a loss. I have a Paramount GB350  leaf blower with a 2 cycle Mitubishi engine. I need a priming bulb. My old one is so old it has gotten hard. Does anyone know ware i can get a new one or a new carb assembly?  I cant find any serial # on the engine or any info on the engine or Parmount blowers

The bulb, is it on the carb or mounted on the blower? If the carb has the primer bulb mounted to it, I believe it is a NIKKI carb, if it is mounted on the blower case it could be about anything... The gb350 was made about 1988, and is a fine unit even by today's standards and well worth fixing... Post a close up photo, one of the whole unit, and one of the primer bulb/carb area.... Then we can figure out what you need. Friiy

THE CARB IS A  NIKKI 6505.  I CANT FIND ANYTHING ABOUT THE ENGINE, THE CLOSEST INFO I FOUND AS A KAWASAKI T200. I THINK IT IS THE SAME ENGINE. THE PRIMING BULB IS ON THE TANK.  I REMOVED THE CARB AND CANT GET ANY FUEL TO PASS THROUGH THE FUEL LINE, I TOOK IT APART AND SOAKED IT IN MY ZEPP TANK FOR 3 DAYS BUT STILL NOTHING . I WANT TO REPLACE THE CARB,FUEL TANK AND PRIMING BULB BUT CANT FIND ANY LEADS TO BUY THEM

That nikki carb/ engine I believe was used on the Toro line of line trimmers of the same year. (about 5 year span) .....  and the tank mounted primer bulb....

The carb is most likely good ,   it just needs new Diaphrams/ gaskets and maybe a needle...   It you take the primer button apart do not loose the parts inside (plastic $#%* and foam and such)....

I will do a little research and see what I can find,  try to take a picture So I can better follow up...

Take a look at these links : http://jackssmallengines.com/help.cfm#AssemblyPartsSearch|model_d9MoRLNeA8MAkFKWRhWEsQ==|assembly_as7zA/ZBtriCb2MVUeSFeA==|brand_dSFVgwdT0oMPfsKWPzzq7A== and try this one also: http://jackssmallengines.com/help.cfm#AssemblyPartsSearch|model_d9MoRLNeA8MAkFKWRhWEsQ==|assembly_TinPoVGw2Crw2axBzpV5Xw==|brand_dSFVgwdT0oMPfsKWPzzq7A== The repair parts are typical, the tank may be different but the fuel pipe assy should be the same.... The carb as a whole will not work.... (body jet size, needle size, throat are made for different engine cc and rpm) but the diaphragms / gaskets and needle should be the same... Friiy

If you're not having any luck with flickr, try imageshack.us  It's been very reliable.
