Ariens 926DLE...Best Snowblower for the $$$

Hi All just wanted to give you an update on the Ariens 926DLE I bought. You may recall after the first use the machine did not work properly for me, but part of that was my fault as I did not do the run in period required on the machine....as such the auger belt became loose and had to be adjusted by my dealer. Since then the machine has worked great! We have gotten 90cm of snow (36 inches) where I live in a 1 week period and the machine has saved my life. The EOD stuff would have been a nightmare to clear but the Ariens went thru it like butter. I am really happy with the performance of the machine and highly recommend it as the best value of any of the snowblowers that Ariens has to offer. Thxs to all on this board who gave me the advice to choose this Pro model over the 11528LE. The 9HP is more than enough to clear the snow and never was bogged down and this was thru as big of a storm that one can get where I live (50cm or 20 inches in one day) and it wasn't until the first time I used it to realize that the extra 2 inch width on the 11528 is totally irrelevent (it might save you one swipe that would take an extra 30 seconds to clear) I hope to get 15-20 years usage out of this machine!

scotiaman I know where you are coming from, I to just bought one. This thing will toss snow 40 ft easy !!!. I looked at the 1128LE But wanted the better stuff in this machine also. GREAT CHOICE. NOW cheak this out. I was in Lancaster PA this past wekend, They got about 8" of snow & the entire town was like shut down, Our motel did not get plowed till the next day. We drove to a resturant in my 4 wd truck & there was a guy snowblowing yes snowblowing this parking lot in this Plaza. The lot was about 900' X 1500'. I drove over there & asked him whats up with this, He said they get this much snow about every 3-4 years. He could not get a plow truck till the middle of the week so he had to snowblow. It was an Ariens but what a work out this guy had.I told him we get this in a few hours where IM from, He jus looked at me funny. Just seeing him go from end to end was really funny

Hey buck-- I'm from buff too, though i live in rachacha(been to Duff's lately? Hmmmm wings.....)....But, my brother lives in lancaster PA, and they get VERY light snowfall compared to us, and typically mild temps too. They almost have "Perfect" all season weather. Hot summers, beautiful springs, spectacular falls, and livable winters. But, like everyone else, they got crushed by these big storms we've had.
