HAS ANYONE USED SEA FOAM IN THERE SNOWBLOWER? Original Message Aug 24, 2010 12:21 pm
HOW GOOD IS SEA FOAM? DOES IT MAKE A REAL DIFFERENCE? I USE STABIL. I WAS THINKING OF USING IT IN MY NORMAL USE GAS MIX. I'M TRYING TO AVOID ANY CARB PROBLEMS IN MY HMSK80. I'V USED STABIL FOR THE PAST 10 YEARS AND NEVER HAD A CARB PROBLEM. I'V USED IT FROM DAY ONE. I DO NOT KNOW IF SEA FOAM IS A BETTER SOLUTION AND GIVE ME BETTER PERFORMANCE. I SEE ON U TUBE THAT CAR ENGINES WILL SMOKE USING IT. I DO NOT KNOW IF SNOW BLOWER ENGINES WILL SMOKE WITH SEA FOAM IN THE GAS. I KNOW STABIL WILL NOT SMOKE. OR IS IT JUST BEST TO STAY WITH STABIL. I'M ON A QUEST FOR BETTER PERFORMANCE

I use seafoam during the winter season. At the end of the season I remove all gasoline and drain the carb. I use seafoam for its cleansing qualities and not for gas stabilization. I don't know if it really helps, but I figured I would try it. at 9.75 for 16 oz, it isn't cheap.
