Hi guys need help for gov. adjustment on an old briggs 11 hp  arm is verticle on side of motor  is the setting  clock wise or counter clockwise. Snow update 35- 60 with 100km winds  I think im going to need a hand  have we still got  the old bus its time for a road trip .Snowshovler if your reading your going to need help to.

Why are you trying to mess with the govoner? There should be no need to do this. Is your engine surging? If it is, its not the govoner, and you need to do a full carb cleaning. The governors job is to keep the engine running at your set engine speed. Messing with this device is a sure way of blowing up your engine because of a overspeed.
