Toro 828OXE vs Toro 828LXE - snowblower

I see that Toro is now making the 828 with the Briggs & Stratton engine (as Tecumseh no longer makes such small engines). My local store will have both models available for this year. Any thoughts on which would be a better choice? Other than the engines, the products appear exactly the same. Toro rep just told me that there is company which has taken over for supplying any replacement parts for the Tecumseh. http://www.toro.com/home/snowthrowers/gastwostage/828oxe.html http://www.toro.com/intl/ca_en/home/snowthrowers/gastwostage/828lxe.html I've read that Tecumseh is generally a better engine; however, I've also read that the OHV is generally better than the L-series (more fuel efficient, quieter, and better wearing). Confusing.

while heres my opinoin...personally l like briggs stratton better than tecumseh on all levels (relaibility, matnience, and overall perfomane) now dont get me wrong tecumseh is a fairly reliable machine and has been for many years but the hole connecting rod thing dont fly with me, l would say in most cases in my experience its users maitiance issuse (oil level) that causes these problems. overhead valve engine are the way to go without a doubt, (more fuel efficient, quieter, and better wearing). with that said lm sure people will debate my opinion its like the Chevy vs Ford thing!!! lm a chevy guy LOL.

A better choice would be Toro 828OXE. I'm using it and really satisfied. echo backpack blower
