Where is the Snow?
Original Message   Jan 18, 2005 2:02 pm
Has anyone been getting any significant snow besides Hickster in Alaska? Where is it?

If this keeps up much longer, deals on snowblowers are to be had.

Significant snowfall is projected for Sat. and Sun. on Long Island

At this point I'll believe it when I see it . We were suposed to get 2-4 today and we did. I counted three and a half flakes

We've had a bunch of 2-4" "storms" but not a serous working storm yet. Kinda scary, the ocean is about a month behind schedule in cooling off too.

Well we got the biggest snow fall of the season last night.  At least 1" of the white stuff.

Plans are to take one of my singles out for a workout.   This may be one of the few chances I get this season.

We have 3/4 inch on the ground here in Dover, De.

Light and fluffy, going to use my summer blower to clear walks, steps, and deck!!

Hey Tom

Did you break in the 3650??   If so, how did it compare to your other Toros?

Hello Everyone:

Today we are going to get up to 16" of Lake Effect Snow!!  At least that is what the National Weather Service is calling for.  We officially have 24" on the ground that has come in the form of 6-10" events.  At least we broke the cold spell that has been on the news this week.

HAPPY BLOWING!!!!

Emmo:

I tried using the 3650 but the snow was way too light.  I was getting covered in snow because the R tek was just blowing the snow all over the place.

Switched to the CR20 which was much happier and kept the blowing to a minimum.

This weekend if we get the 6-12" I do plan on an informal Snow Commander vs. 3650 comparison test.

Keep us posted Tom,  I'd be interested in hearing your experience in the side by side test.

Nothing over 2" here yet. Brand new Ariens itchin' to go. The neighbors are looking at me weird- probably because I start up the blower and tool around the driveway on sunny days !
