Q on Honda HS928TA
Original Message   Jan 13, 2005 11:50 am
Hello all,

I got this machine earlier this season and have been using it happily.

One thing I noticed is that , at full speed (hydro gear set to fast forward, choke set to fast),
the machine seems to shake quite a bit. -  the engine seems to be shaking ~1" in either direction.  This makes
the thrower chute shake at least a couple of inches side to side.  Is this normal?  If not, what do I need to look at?
When I pull down on the choke, it goes away.

Thanks.

Can it be the tracks themselves making the machine "bounce" when travelling fast ?
...especially if it's on a non-smooth surface ?

Dave...

Whether you think you can or you can't... you're right.

Yes it can do that when you are moving fast in forward not moving any snow, it does that with mine also, slow down and it stops, doesn't do this all the time.

Whew... yes, I noticed it when I was rushing it back into the garage, not moving any snow.
I don't think it shook like that when moving the snow.

Thanks!

         Hi Bricks

Glad to here that problem is solved. The Tracks don't ride as smooth as tires
