Tecumseh has a small tach, called Maintenance Minder. Just wrap the wire from the reach around your spark plug wire, pull off tape and stick it where you want it!! Cost about $15.00 on EBay, a little more from a Tecumseh dealer. Do a Google search, Tecumseh Hour meter!! Fred

Yo Niper: I use two small electronic after market tachs. Same operating principles as Fred's Maintenance Minder. Both are accurate and easy to install and use. Hey Fred: Is your Maintenance Minder also a tach or just an hour meter. If it is a tach/hour meter, that's a hell of a good price. I have a Maintenance Minder on my riding mower at camp and it's just an hour meter.
