Help with Ariens model 932001 compact sno-thrower

I just picked up a model 932001 sn# 026574 at an estate sale for cheap. It appears to be complete and in excellent condition. The widow says her late husband used it for many years without any problems and even gave me the name of the dealer it was purchased at. (They have since gone out of business). Her husband died about 5 years ago and the blower has been sitting in his unheated shed untouched for those 5+ years.
Unfortunately, there is about a half tank of gas in it so it was never properly stored.
Any hints on what to do to give me the best shot at getting this blower back in working order?
Thanks a million! I'm off now to ariens dot com to find the manual.
Thanks, Brad

Well, ariens dot com has the owners manual, but not the service manual or parts manual available for download. Does anyone have copies of these?
Does anyone have any idea when this blower was produced?
Thanks!
Brad

Well, I had time this morning to play with this old blower. The widow called and told me she had found the original owners manual. There was a date written on the cover 8-9-1979. WOW, this thing doesn't look that old to me! What do you think? Anyway, I drained out the old fuel, topped off the oil and after a little coaxing, it started up and ran smooth as could be. Now I need to actually change the oil and lube this thing up. I noticed in the manual it references yard attachments for use in the summer, anyone have any info on this?? THanks! Brad

KCFLY, If it has a metal tank, change it to a plastic one, no rust flakes going to your carb. When you do the tank or not, install new fuel lines and fuel shut off valve!! Wash, Wax, Lube and Oil change!!! Then blow snow, if we ever get any!! Fred

It does have a plastic fuel tank, but new fuel lines would be a good idea. There is no fuel shutoff that I have found yet. That would be nice to add.
Yeah, it does need a good washing and waxing. I suppose I can do that on these 60 degree days we are having. I sure wish some snow would come my way. We are expecting thunderstorms today, what a weird "winter".
Thanks all!
